About the Central Texas Professional Irrigation Association

The Central Texas Professional Irrigation Association (CTPIA) is a local, non-profit organization, comprised of licensed sprinkler contractors, suppliers, and other involved parties. The primary aim of the CTPIA is to ensure that consumers in the Central Texas area become equipped with the most up-to-date and reliable sprinkler equipment, information, and education, while using the most advanced design and installation techniques in the industry.

The Central Texas Professional Irrigation Association is continually striving to ensure that only competent and legally-licensed individuals are involved in the design and installation of underground lawn sprinkler systems.

Our Goals and Objectives

The primary goal of the Central Texas Professional Irrigation Association is to inform and educate the public on water conservation and irrigation methods, and to promote high quality and reliable irrigation services and products in the Central Texas area. Specific objectives include:

  • Dissemination of educational and helpful information to the public on proper turf irrigation practices and efficient water usage and management.

  • Establishment and enforcement of a code of ethics governing the conduct of individuals practicing in the industry.
  • Propagation of information covering the latest irrigation techniques and innovations among our members and involved parties.
  • Establishment and enforcement of standards of performance and qualifications for practicing in this industry.
  • Interaction with the local regulatory agencies for the enforcement of the industry's strict standards and the protection of the public.
